About Costessey Garden Care

Hi, I'm Alex.

Like some of the best things in life, I fell into landscaping.

Having grown up with large gardens in New Costessey, I got exposed to a wide variety of garden related tasks for Mum, Dad and Grandparents. I was in a different career when I helped an elderly neighbour out after a rogue did some rough work. I ended up doing quite a bit for them, and she said "you clearly have a good eye, enjoy it, and are better than most of the different specialists we've used over the years, why don't you advertise?" With a Masters degree in my white collar occupation it wasn't something I had considered, but I realised that I was happiest outdoors, and so took the plunge.

As my experience grew so did the complexity of projects, and having studied landscaping, brickwork, and joinery our skillset is well suited to the variety of projects we take on. We primarily look to take on Fencing, Decking and building structures. As such, we have probably outgrown 'Costessey Garden Care' as a name, and also go by CGC Gardens.

We are typically a two to three man team, with my Dad driving the truck when needed for materials or licensed waste disposal.
